Police investigating violent attempted robbery in Melbourne’s CBD

Police are investigating a violent attempted robbery which occurred in Batman Park at around 1pm on July 24.

Detectives have been told the victim and his friend were approached by three men, demanding his necklace before striking the victim in the chest and fleeing.

Images of three men who police believe may be able to assist in their inquiries have been released.
