Police make arrest after stolen vehicle speeds through south-east suburbs

Police have arrested a man after a high-speed pursuit early on Monday morning.

The alleged driver of stolen vehicle clocked speeds of up to 170km/h after going on a rampage through Melbourne’ south-east after 3am.

The Jeep Cherokee finally came to a stop in Noble Park, where a 27-year-old from Hampton East was taken in custody.
