Police on the hunt for man following North Fitzroy sexual assault

Police are on the hunt for a man wanted over a sexual assault at North Fitzroy on August 17.

Investigators have been told a woman was running along Queens Parade when an unknown man on a bicycle blocked her path around 1.30pm.

She managed to get past the man, however it’s alleged he quickly caught up and sexually assaulted her.

Police have released an image of a man who they believe may be able to assist with their enquiries.
