Police are on the hunt for two males following an armed robbery on a bus dating back to March.

The victim was a 17-year-old who was on board the 250 bus in the vicinity of Rushall station in Fitzroy North.

He was then approached by two unknown males at around 2.05am who sat next to the teenager, who could then feel a weapon press against his ribs.

He then had to hand over his phone, fleece jumper and shoes, but was not physically injured from the incident.

The first male is perceived to be caucasian in appearance and approximately 182 centimetres tall and of slim build.

The second male is perceived to be african in appearance and approximately 152 centimetres tall and of slim build.
