Police operation shuts train line during Monday peak

The Sandringham line has been closed due to a police operation, sparking commuter chaos for those leaving work on Monday.

The line was suspended after a woman was hit by a train and won’t re-open until after 7pm.

Buses are leaving the Arts Centre.

There’s already heavy strain on bus services due to replacement services on the Cranbourne-Pakenham and Frankston lines.
