Police probe bag raider’s unusual airport activity

Police are investigating after a woman allegedly stole a number of suitcases from a carousel at Melbourne Airport, and then broke into one of the bag owner’s homes.

Investigators believe a woman stole baggage from the Terminal 4 carousel at about 3pm on 20 November last year.

Police then believe the same woman broke into the homes of one of the bag’s owners in Alma Avenue in Altona Meadows where electrical goods, cash and jewellery were stolen during the burglary.

Police have released an image of a woman that they believe may be able to assist with their enquires.
