Police raid properties linked to the Comancheros motorcycle gang
One of the biggest anti-bikie gang operations in the state’s history is underway across Melbourne.
It began under the cover of darkness around 5am on Tuesday.
So far, heavily armed police have raided 25 residential and commercial properties linked to the Comancheros Outlaw Motorcycle Gang across Melbourne.
They’re currently taking vehicles from a property in Lindhurst.
Drugs and cash have also been seized from many of the locations.
20 people have been arrested.
But this taskforce Echo-led operation, among the biggest in the state’s history targeting bikies, is far from over.
Detectives say it will continue throughout the day.
