Police ramp up search for missing woman Karen Ristevski

There are claims this morning a person of interest in the search for Avondale Heights mum Karen Ristevski, has gone silent.

Police will today step up the search for the 47-year-old.

The Avondale Heights mum was said to have left the family home at about 10am on June 29.

Her husband, Borce told investigators they had been discussing the financial situation of her business before she stormed off.

She hasn’t touched her bank account and her phone is switched off.

The Herald Sun claims a crucial person of interest in the case has suddenly gone silent.

Having previous searched the banks of the Maribyrnong River, Police will set up an information caravan in Avondale Heights, as well as put up posters and door knock residents .
