Police ‘really alarmed’ by number of pedestrians killed in Victoria this year

Police say they’re alarmed by the number of pedestrians who’ve been killed in Victoria this year.

There have been 28 pedestrians killed, 10 of those in June alone.

“It’s a really alarming figure,” Acting Assistant Commissioner Justin Goldsmith said.

He’s calling on people to be more “present and aware of their surroundings” while walking around traffic.
