Police have renewed a push to solve the 55-year mystery of the woman known only as ‘Unknown Female 443.’

The woman was found dead next to train tracks at St Kilda in March, 1961.

While her death wasn’t suspicious – she is believed to have been drunk and died of natural causes – police have never been able to identify her.

More than 50 years on, they’re trying again to find her loved ones.

An artist has created an image of the woman.

She was 55 when she died.
