Police respond to shooting at Glenroy, the ninth in Victoria in 2016

Police are at Glenroy after reports of a drive-by shooting this morning.

It’s believed the incident happened near the intersection of View and Glen streets, and police have confirmed they’re responding to a firearms incident.

This is the ninth shooting in Victoria this year, on top of three in December.

Local resident Stacey has told 3AW Breakfast it happened around 7am. 

‘I heard some shots. There’s detectives and police there now,’ she said.
