Police search for duo following early morning Ferntree Gully burglary

The Knox Crime Investigation Unit has appealed for witnesses following a burglary on January 27 in Ferntree Gully.
Victoria Police spokesperson, Adam West, says a man allegedly smashed his way into liquor store on Ferntree Gully Road just before 3am.
“A man smashed his way in with a sledgehammer before stealing alcohol,” he told Ross and Russel.

He also says the man was later spotted with a second man.
Police urge anyone with information to contact Crime Stoppers at 1300 333 000.
Victoria Police media have revealed in a statement the incident originally took place on January 27, not March 20 as previously reported.
