Police search for silver car after fatal Tatura crash

Police are on the hunt for a silver car which was seen overtaking another vehicle in the state’s north last night moments before a fatal collision.

A man is dead and three others are in a serious condition in hospital after a Ford collided with a Mitsubishi Magna at Tatura just before 6pm Thursday.

The silver car stopped briefly before leaving the scene.

The death takes Victoria’s road toll to 58 for the year – the highest it has been at this time of year in a decade.
