Police swarm on West Melbourne building

There’s a heavy police presence at a building in West Melbourne.

Witness Greg alerted 3AW to the situation, late on Friday morning.

A suspicious man was reported loitering in the area.

Officers are trying to make contact with the man and the occupants of the Spencer Street block.

Roughly a dozen police were at the scene.
