Man arrested after police swarm Reservoir home

A man has been arrested after police swarmed a house in Reservoir.

Denis Walter listeners reported the Critical Incident Response Team was among a large police presence at the Florence Close operation.

Police were initially tight-lipped about the situation, but have since revealed they were responding to reports a man had barricaded himself inside a home about 11.15am.

He remained inside the house for more than hour, but was eventually arrested without incident about 12.30pm.

Police say they also located what is believed to be an imitation firearm at the address.
