Police union backs changes to isolation rules, on one proviso
Police union boss Wayne Gatt has backed changes that will see officers exempt from close contact isolation requirements and able to work.

“If we don’t have enough tests, it falls over,” Mr Gatt told 3AW Drive.
“We have our fingers and toes crossed that as soon as possible a significant number of these tests are made available, and are available.”
He said the force was wary of “making the situation worse” by bringing at-risk staff back to work.
