Police union lashes out at ‘political spin’ from Andrews government over entitlements
Police union boss Wayne Gatt says the Victorian force is being treated like “second-class citizens” and lashed out at “political spin” from government about police entitlements.
Victoria’s police are working on Thursday’s public holiday, with no penalty loading, or day owed in lieu.
“To be honest, it’s treating our members with contempt and they’re not happy about it,” Gatt said.
