Protests forced police to cancel planned operations last week

Police were forced to cancel planned operations last week due to the need to divert resources to protests.

Rolling protests by construction workers, as well as anti-lockdown protesters, took place across the state last week.

In order to provide public order management and COVID-19 enforcement activities at the protests, police cancelled a number of Designated Area Operations in Werribee, Dandenong, Narre Warren and Pakenham.
