‘Political diabetes’: Liberal MP Tim Wilson slams Labor as he concedes the party failed to entice voters

The Liberal MP for Goldstein, Tim Wilson, has admitted the party fell short of enticing voters, as he slams the Labor Party for being “political diabetes”.

He criticised the re-elected Albanese government for “pouring sugar” on the budget, and urged his party to get voters to see the opportunities presented by the Liberals.

“But you have to paint that vision for them … and part of that is also explaining the consequences, when you keep feeding people political sugar as Labor has, eventually that catches up with you,” he told Tom Elliott.
