Popular small business forces to shut down ‘immediately’ due to council issue

A popular small business that started after family tragedy has been forced to shut down immediately after Brimbank Council retracted their permit due to a “planning” issue.

Jodi Sharman, co-owner of Happy Days Donuts & Coffee, told 3AW Afternoons it was incredibly frustrating.

The news prompted a big response on the talkback line, with many listeners shocked to learn they’d no longer be able to get their sugar hit in Keilor.
