Portarlington to Docklands ferry a sell out

Article image for Portarlington to Docklands ferry a sell out

After just 7-weeks the future of the Wyndham to Docklands ferry run looks doomed.

Paul Little, the man behind Port Phillip Ferries says the demand simply isn’t there.

‘We’ll continue to talk to the local people at Wyndham.’

‘At this stage it’s looking difficult to turn into a regular commuter service with any confidence.’ ? he told 3AW News.

But something which may be a goer is a ferry between Portarlington and Docklands.

25 dollar tickets for the one-off return trip tomorrow are already sold out, giving Mr. Little hope the one and a half hour trip up the bay will become a regular run.
