Shane McInnes exposes ‘false premise’ with the upcoming Metro Tunnel timetable

3AW host Shane McInnes has exposed a “false premise” with the upcoming timetable for the new Metro Tunnel.

Premier Jacinta Allan previously announced Victoria’s entire train network would be overhauled on February 1, but the 3AW host did some digging and uncovered it’s not all true.

“The Metro Tunnel will be of benefit to many, but to others, let’s be brutally honest here, it will be totally irrelevant,” McInnes said on 3AW Drive.

Spokesperson for the Transport Users Association, Daniel Bowen, then had his say with what Shane McInnes had uncovered.

“There’s been a lot of spin,” Mr Bowen said.
