Premier Daniel Andrews promises to make Victoria’s traffic fine system clearer

The Premier has vowed to make the traffic fine system simpler.

Daniel Andrews told Neil Mitchell that penalty notices, as they exist now, are ‘complete gobbledygook’. 

‘Confusing doesn’t cover it,’ Mr Andrews said.

‘You need to be able to follow and know where you are in the system.’

Mr Andrews said the change will be made later this month.

‘It gives you a sense of where you’re at in the system and what your options are.’
