Premier says sky rail on the Cranbourne-Pakenham line will go ahead
Premier Daniel Andrews has denied a lack of consultation about a proposed sky rail on the Cranbourne-Pakenham line.
The government plans to remove nine level crossings by building a rail bridge which could be 13 metres high in some parts.
While upset residents say they haven’t been consulted, Mr Andrews said he’s debating it now.
But Neil Mitchell questioned the point of a debate if he’s already made up his mind.

An emotional resident pleaded with the Premier to reverse the decision.
‘We have been completely hoodwinked, the community has been stunned,’ 3AW listener Diane said.
‘We are outraged and we’d like to invite you to come to a civilised meeting in our community and, please, listen to what the public is saying.’
