‘Pretty scary’: Man accused of allegedly stalking young mothers in Melbourne’s north

A man, in the Coburg area, is believed to have allegedly stalked numerous mothers with their young children, between April 30 and May 8.

*Bethany, says she was sitting in a cafe, when a woman with a pram walked in with a man behind her screaming.

“He was very aggressive, and intimidating, and the cafe owner … ushered him out the door and locked everyone in,” she told Jacqui Felgate.

Caller Kailia, says going on any walk in the area is now “pretty scary”.

“I have a mothers group chat … some of the discussions have been around, organising group walks to feels safer, not wearing airpods,” she said.

“You want to feel safe when you’re taking your child out, you want to be able to protect them,” she added.
