Pro-Palestine rally to begin at Merri-Bek Council on Wednesday afternoon

A pro-Palestine rally is planned to begin in Coburg at 5:30pm (AEDT) on Wednesday afternoon.

3AW Drive received a tip-off suggesting that supporters were expected to gather at the Merri-Bek Council and attempt to storm the gallery, with police and council security aware of the heightened risk of disruption.

“Victoria Police is aware of a rally planned at Coburg on 8 November,” the statement read.
