Proposed Tasmanian AFL stadium unpopular with Tasmanians

Following news that Tasmania will gain a footy team, petitions have been started against a proposed $715 million stadium.

Admin of the NO AFL STADIUM for Tasmania Facebook group, Janice Overett believes Tasmania can’t afford the stadium.

“Our hospitals are crumbling, absolutely crumbling and that is what people want the money to be spent on,” Ms Overett told Tom Elliott.
