PSO attacked, cop kicked in Armadale train station bottling
A PSO has been bottled and a police officer kicked in a violent scenes at Armadale railway station overnight.
The Protective Services Officer was on patrol when a woman allegedly attacked him from behind, smacking the back of his head with a bottle.
Police arrived and the women turned on them.
She allegedly kicked an officer while being arrested.
Neither the PSO nor the police officer had serious injuries.
The woman, a 26-year-old from Northcote, and a Bentleigh man, 25, were taken to hospital for assessment.
Both of them are expected to be charged on summons with assaulting an emergency worker, which shapes as another potential test of Victoria’s mandatory minimum jail terms for such offences.
