Push for more changes to paid parental leave

There is a proposal to raise paid parental leave from 18 to 26 weeks, at the rate of pay the parent normally earns, up to $100,000.

Tom Elliott has questioned how Australia can afford it.

Kate Griffiths, Researcher at Grattan Institute, said it was clear “something” needed to be done to address the issue.
