Push for ‘Veticare’ to be established to subsidise pet care

The Animal Justice Party wants pet owners to be able to access free or subsidised veterinary care at public clinics in a bid to address the “crisis” in the sector.

They’ve dubbed it Veticare.

Andy Meddick MP told Tom Elliott the financial pressures on the system were only getting worse.

“Vets are leaving the industry in droves and that is creating a crisis in that particular sector,” he said.
