RUMOUR FILE CONFIRMED

Megastar director Quentin Tarantino was among a trio of Hollywood’s biggest names who crashed screening of new film Hateful Eight in the western suburbs on Monday Night.

Tarantino was joined by actors Samuel L. Jackson and Kurt Russell at Yarraville Sun Theatre, which was showing an advanced screening of their new film in 70mm.

The high-profile visit was first mooted on the Ross and John’s Rumour File last week, but couldn’t quite be confirmed by the boutique cinema days later.

The trio addressed cinema-goers on stage.

Monday night’s appearance follows a surprise visit at a Sydney theatre in Randwick last night.

The Sun Theatre was one of just three Melbourne cinemas showing The Hateful Eight with 70mm projectors.

The story of how the Sun Theatre came across its projector was also revealed on 3AW last night – MORE.

3AW BREAKFAST WAS THERE: Tune in to Ross and John Tuesday morning to find out more about what Taratino and friends got up to on Monday night!
