‘Quite concerning’: Brazen masked offenders vandalise train on the Hurstbridge line

A group of masked offenders have vandalised a train at Alphington Station earlier this morning on the Hurstbridge line.

“It left commuters not only delayed, but stunned and somewhat unnerved by what was happening,” 3AW host Shane McInnes said.

“The brazen nature of such an incident, I would’ve thought is quite concerning.”

The offenders and the train left before police arrived on scene.

Police are liaising with Metro Trains and continuing to make enquiries into the incident.
