‘The Tyre Extinguishers’: The radical group arriving in Australia

The Tyre Extinguishers have arrived in Australia, first originating in the UK, their goal is to rid the roads of what they consider “massive and unnecessary vehicles” by deflating the tyres of SUVs.

Dr Nick Abel, honorary associate professor at ANU and member of Scientist Rebellion says he believes all the group will achieve is “piss people off”.
