‘Really bad move’: Concerns raised as nicotine patches are banned from jails in Victoria
Nicotine patches will be banned from Victorian jails due to concerns about prisoner health and safety, with some detainees extracting the nicotine from the patches then smoking it.
Brett Collins from the prisoner advocacy group Justice Action says there will be consequences.
“This is a really bad move,” Mr Collins told Ross and Russel.
