Four-time Olympic gold medallist and 200 metre world record holder Ariarne Titmus is hanging up the goggles.

The 25-year-old made the shock announcement this morning, and opened up to Tony Moclair on 3AW Afternoons about why she made the call.

“It’s definitely one of the most emotional days of my life,” Titmus said.
