The Reason Party has renewed calls for the introduction of pill-testing.

It comes after nine people were hospitalised after a mass drug overdose at Festival Hall on the weekend.

“How many people need to die?” Ms Patten said in the 3AW studio.

“Does it need to be a politician’s child?”

Ms Patten said the Australian Medical Association (AMA) has been calling for pill-testing for years.
