Reason Party leader calls for trial of four-day working week

The leader of the Reason Party is calling for the trial of a four day working week in Victoria.

Fiona Patten said it was worth looking at, given the results overseas.

“Let’s trial it in one discreet department and see what the impact is,” she said on 3AW Drive.

“Does it increase productivity, does it increase worker satisfaction and if that is the case, then I’d expect many in the private sector to roll something similar out.”
