THE WASH-UP: Hawthorn forward Jarryd Roughead says Hawthorn isn’t afraid of another trip to Perth.

Hawthorn will play Fremantle in the Preliminary Final, and Roughead told 3AW Football road trips bring the group together.

‘This year we’ve had to deal with a lot of off-field stuff,’ Roughead said on Saturday afternoon.

‘It makes the group tighter and stronger – especially when you go away for an interstate trip.’

Roughead said he has exchanged text messages with former teammate Lance Franklin.

‘He’s got a great network of people around him. I hope we can catch up soon.’
