Reckless driver charged after high speed chase through Melbourne’s west
A 28-year-old man has been charged after a stolen car was allegedly driven at speeds of up 160 kilometres per hour while being chased across Melbourne’s west.

Patrolling police sighted a Hyundai sedan bearing stolen number plates in Point Cook at around 9:30pm last night.
The vehicle sped off, driving recklessly through Point Cook, Laverton North and Deer Park.
Air Wing tracked the car, which was dumped after stop sticks were deployed, and two men ran from the scene with the dog squad finding one of them in a nearby creek.
