Reckless motorcyclist fighting for his life after serious Monash Freeway crash

Dashcam footage has shown two motorcyclists riding at high speeds on the Monash Freeway in the lead up to a serious collision on the Monash Freeway.

One of the motorcyclists is fighting for his life in hospital after colliding with a car.

Jenn, who witnessed the motorbikes fly by at high speeds past her car joined 3AW Drive and detailed the events that led up to the serious collision.

“We were probably travelling at 80km/h and they were eclipsing us,” she said on 3AW Drive.

Road Policing Assistant Commissioner Glenn Weir joined 3AW Drive to discuss the worrying incident and the increasing road toll.

“It is ludicrous criminal behaviour,” Weir said on 3AW Drive.
