Refugee parents reportedly sending kids to Africa to avoid gangs like APEX
Refugee parents are so fearful for the safety of their children they are sending them back to Africa to keep them away from Melbourne’s teen crime wave.
Police reportedly know of children being sent to Sudan, the second most dangerous country on earth, because of fears their children will get caught up in gangs.
One mother has told The Herald Sun she would like to see authorities enforce a three strikes and you’re out policy for problem youths.
The Opposition’s Ed O’Donohue says the Andrews Government can’t ignore the fear.
‘Refugee families in my electorate that have come to Australia for a better life are extremely concerned about the impact APEX and other gangs may have on their young children,’ he told 3AW News.
