Regional Victorian property with a historic link to Ned Kelly to go on the market

A property with a historical link to Ned Kelly in Benalla, in north-east Victoria, will go on the market for the first time in nearly 40 years.

Real estate agent at Ray White Benalla, Shayne McKean, says a lot of owners of properties in the area claim links to the infamous bushranger, but the property known as the Bootmaker’s Shop is genuine.

“This one’s well documented … there was an altercation with Ned leaving the courthouse,” he told Tony Jones.
