Regional Victorian RSL removes rainbow poppy pin from sale

The Bendigo RSL has pulled an inclusive poppy pin featuring rainbow colours from their website this morning.

Bendigo District RSL president, Glenn Ludeman, says, the pins do not represent the poppy appeal but instead were part of an exhibition which looked at the experiences of former and current Australian Defence Force members who were in the LGBTQIA.

“There was six left, subsequently, people have got it mixed up with the poppy appeal and crossed the lines,” he told Neil Mitchell.
