Reliving the glory days of Australian rock with Ross Wilson

Rock icon Ross Wilson joined Denis Walter on 3AW Afternoons on the back of a newly released Aussie rock compilation album that will have you reliving the scenes glory days.

The front man for groups like Daddy Cool and Mondo Rock, Ross discovered, and has worked with some of Australian rock’s biggest names.

‘I was a bit of an A&R guy, I’d find bands, if I liked them we’d take them into the studio and do demos, out of that came success with the Skyhooks, Jo Jo Zep & The Falcons…the list goes on.’ 

Denis and Ross took calls on some of your favourite Aussie rocks songs and the venues that used to, and still do rock the night away.
