‘Renew and refresh’: The ‘spin’ from Jacinta Allan that Shane McInnes has called out

3AW host Shane McInnes was at a press conference on Friday where Premier Jacinta Allan was spruiking all that Victoria has to offer, alongside NFL commissioner Roger Goodell.

And the state Labor leader was asked about her cabinet reshuffle coming next Tuesday.

“The hyperbole around a new beginning, well it’s fair to say it wasn’t subtle,” McInnes said about Allan.

“It’s spin, pure and simple. It is politics 101.

“The brutal reality is that the Premier is shuffling the deck chairs on the Titanic, and she’s hoping it gets your vote.”

Political marketing expert, Dr Andrew Hughes, thinks the Premier and her party are “really worried” at the moment.
