An American reporter who was on a bus attacked in Rio is adamant the vehicle was hit with bullets, not rocks.

The bus, carrying journalists at the games, had two windows blown out on Tuesday night (local time).

Two people suffered minor injuries.

Officials have said the bus was hit by stones.

But Lee Michaelson, a retired Air Force captain who now works at Hoopfeed, told Ross and John she didn’t believe that.

‘I heard gunfire,’ she said.
