Reports Axl Rose asked for police escort to MCG concert, which was denied

Restless rock fans were kept waiting an hour for Guns N’ Roses on Tuesday night at the MCG.

And it seems the reason for that delay has begun to emerge.

The Herald Sun has been told the band’s frontman, Axl Rose, refused to leave his hotel room at Crown unless he was given a police escort to the concert.

Awkwardly, it appears that request was denied by Victoria Police.
