Reports of a high speed police chase through Melbourne

There are reports of a high speed police pursuit on the Princess Freeway.

Callers to 3AW say a Commodore travelling around 170 km/h is making its way across Melbourne.

Listener Jake has told 3AW Afternoons, police are closing in.

‘A commodore just past me 40 seconds ago on the West Gate Bridge. He’s not getting away, there are two helicopters on him and about 6 cop cars about 30 seconds behind him,’ Jake told Denis Walter.

The light blue Commodore has most recently been spotted in the Parkville.
