Rescue operation underway after tradesman falls off scaffolding in North Fitzroy

Emergency services are working to free a worker who fell six metres from scaffolding at a construction site in North Fitzroy.

The man, aged in his 20s, is yet to be rescued from the construction site on St Georges Road.

Paramedics say he appears to be in a stable condition after hitting his head.
