Rescue operation: Injured teen stranded in Victorian Alps

A rescue operation is under way in Victoria’s Alpine region.

Paramedics are attending the Alpine Walking Track in Nelse, after recieving reports that a teenage girl had suffered a shoulder injury.

It is believed the girl will be transported to Albury Base Hospital.

Blizzard conditions are forecast for the Alpine region today.
